1. PLACING AN ORDER

We will normally reserve parts (at our discretion) on receipt of an e-mail order. We will only dispatch goods upon receipt of payment in full including any carriage due.
Reservation of parts will be held for three (3) days only pending receipt of payment. This facility is offered to our customers due to the fast moving nature of our inventory.
2. CANCELLING ORDERS
You may cancel an order if you send us an e-mail prior to receiving the tracking information notification that your order has been shipped. If you want to cancel all or part of your order, please e-mail us at sales@surplusbits.com with your confirmation number, title of the items to be changed or cancelled, and quantity of the change.
3. RETURNS
Items may be returned for credit or refund at our discretion within 10 days of delivery. All returns must have a returns authorisation number. Call 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM EST Monday through Friday to get a return authorization number. Please have your invoice ready when you call. Returns after 10 days of the invoice date are subject to a 20% restocking fee. No returns after 30 days. Non-defective returns are subject to a 20% restocking fee. Carefully pack your return and write the returns authorisation number on the outside of the box in plain sight. Returns without an invoice or returns authorisation number are subject to delayed processing and the 20% restocking fee. Due to their nature some items such as kits, cut or measured product (wire, heat shrink and tubing) and software are non-returnable. No freight collect or COD returns accepted. Parcels damaged in transit are the responsibility of the shipper. Shipping charges on returned goods are non-refundable. Refunds for overpayment or returned items must be requested by the customer within 6 months of the order or return.
4. ORDERING
Orders are periodically downloaded throughout the day. All orders placed after 2:00 PM ET will be processed on the following business day. Orders placed on Saturday, Sunday or on a National holiday will be processed on the next business day.
5. SHIPPING CHARGES
Shipping estimates listed on the website are estimates only. Actual shipping charges may differ. Customer is responsible for all shipping charges. Shipping charges are non refundable. Fuel surcharges may apply.
6. HANDLING CHARGES
All shipments will have a standard £3.00 handling charge. Handling charges are non-refundable.

All products with the exception of some computer products in this catalogue are warranted only to be free of defects in material and workmanship for thirty (30) days from the date of shipment. We will not be responsible for incidental or consequential damage due to defective, or improper use of products. There are no other warranties, either expressed or implied which extend the foregoing, and there are no warranties of merchantability or fitness for any particular purpose. No purchase order or verbal advice shall alter this agreement.
